Provo 2099

This is an ongoing project being worked on by the club as a group. The premise is that we want to create a vision to shape the future of Provo. More specifically, we are trying to design what we think Provo should look like in the year 2099. We are focusing on designing Provo to improve sustainability and to make Provo an economic destination. Our ultimate goal is to prepare a presentation of our work for the Provo City Council. In order to give us a framework to design around, we have taken inspiration from the Linear city being constructed in Saudi Arabia and are envisioning a city with a structure that we call the Wedge. We have divided the city into subsystems and are designing concepts to improve the city in a meaningful way. This project is meant to give members of the club a chance to work on their design skills and gain new expertise in areas that they were previously unfamiliar with.
